How Soloex started.

Derek spent years as the technical closer at a Summit-tier Salesforce Partner. When a sales team needed someone to walk a client through the hard parts, he was the person they pulled onto the call. He'd win the business, then do the actual work - business analysis, solution architecture, the build itself, training, and the inevitable upsell a few months later.

He was doing every part of the job. Now it was time to go out on his own.

Derek and Kristin's story started long before Soloex. They met in Africa on a college missions trip, and not long after, Soloex was born as an idea. For years, they worked, traveled the country, and built toward something of their own - until they decided to go all in, full-time, and build both a business and a family.

In August 2024, they made it official.

Derek does the work he was already known for - just directly, for the client. Kristin runs operations, books, and billing, keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly.

Women-owned, WBENC certified. The bet is simple: when you hire Soloex, you hire the person who's going to build it. Not a pitch deck. Not a junior handed your project after the closer signs.
